A few things to remember:
Original materials will be returned to the owners after digitization is complete.
Due to time constraints, we may only digitize five (5) items per person at Roadshow events.
Please feel free to bring more than five items to a Roadshow event. If time allows we may be able to digitize more or in some cases special arrangements may be made with the Marblehead Museum.
Due to time and equipment constraints, Marblehead Museum may make arrangements to borrow items to be digitized and returned at a later date. This might occur if an item is oversize or has many pages, such as a diary.
In cases where we are unable to complete digitization due to more participants/materials than expected, we may make arrangements to borrow items to be digitized and returned at a later date.
Items may not be left with Marblehead Museum representatives for longer than it takes to digitize items unless special arrangements have been made with the Museum.
All digital images will become part of the Marblehead Museum Archive and as such they will be freely available for use by the public.
