On March 10, 2011, the Marblehead Museum kicked off a new concept in exhibits, programming and events that will span the next 3 years. “Marblehead 101” is a comprehensive project that celebrates Marblehead’s central role in both local and national history. The exhibit will highlight Marblehead history of the 17th and 18th centuries.
“In our Annual Appeal, we’ve been asking, ‘Who owns Marblehead history?’ continues Peterson, “and we hope Marblehead 101 will foster a town wide sense ownership and pride in our heritage.”
