Volunteering

Volunteers are an invaluable asset to the operation of the Museum and its properties.

The Marblehead Museum is beholden to its volunteers and guides. Whether it be answering phones at the Front Desk at 170 Washington Street or greeting and guiding visitors at the Lee Mansion and the Civil War Museum; we couldn’t do it all without them!

Volunteers are needed in many areas, including:

  • Exhibit development and fabrication
  • Reception and office duties
  • Educational programs
  • Lee Mansion and Civil War Museum guides
  • Special events
  • Collections and archives
